ARD is now part of the AmazonSmile program

In 2013, online retail giant Amazon launched an initiative called AmazonSmile, allowing its millions of users to support 501(c) (3) public charities through online shopping. By buying through smile.amazon.com, shoppers can select a charity to receive a donation of 0.5% of eligible purchased items at no additional cost to them.

This is an easy way for you to do your online shopping while simultaneously supporting causes you are passionate about. Better yet, the experience of shopping at AmazonSmile is identical to that of shopping at Amazon’s regular website and users do not need to create a new account in order to participate in this initiative.

We, at the ARD Foundation, are always looking for new ways to raise funds towards cancer research projects. For this reason, we’re happy to announce that our organization is now part of the AmazonSmile program.

Below we’ve included the steps you can take to support the ARD Foundation through AmazonSmile.

This is the first page you’ll see when going to smile.amazon.com. The homepage is nearly identical to Amazon’s regular one with the exception of the highlighted part.

When you click on it, a drop menu will appear. Select “change” to take you to the next page.

Here you can see information on the non profit charity you’re currently listed as supporting. Below, you can type the name of any charity or location to search for other options. To find us, simply type “ARD Foundation” or “Alcides e Rousara Diniz Foundation.”

These are the search results you are likely to find. Simply click “Select” to start supporting ARD.

And you’re done! Now, if you use AmazonSmile to do your online shopping, Amazon will automatically donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to our organization, helping further advance cancer research at no additional costs to you! Remember that even small donations can make a big difference!
